Privacy

Pintlog is a journal that lives on your iPhone. We do not run an account system, and we do not collect a feed of what you drink.

What stays on the device

Drinks you log — time, price, currency, serving size, and whether it was shared — are stored in Pintlog’s on-device database (SwiftData). Settings such as region, usual drink, and weekly intention are stored in iOS user defaults on that same phone.

Deleting the app deletes this journal, unless you have a device backup that includes it.

What leaves the device

If you open Spent, Pintlog may fetch public European Central Bank exchange rates from Frankfurter so totals can be shown in another currency. That request does not include your drink log. If the phone is offline, Pintlog uses typical rates saved on the device.

We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, or sign-in.

Children

Pintlog is a beer journal intended for adults of legal drinking age in their country.
