Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Cliptum handles information when you use the iOS app. Cliptum does not require an account and does not operate a cloud service for creating reels.

Photos and videos

You choose which photos and videos to use through Apple’s system photo picker, or create new media with the device camera. Cliptum uses those items only to display thumbnails, compose your preview, and export the reel you request.

Media processing and video composition take place on your device. Cliptum does not upload your media to us or to a Cliptum-operated server.

Device permissions

Cliptum may ask for the following iOS permissions when you use the related feature:

• Camera — to take photos or record videos inside the app.
• Microphone — to include sound when recording a video.
• Photo Library — to select source media and save completed reels to Photos.

You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Features that depend on a denied permission may not be available.

Data collection and sharing

Cliptum does not collect personal information, create user profiles, track you across apps or websites, or share personal information with third parties.

The current version does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or behavioural analytics. Apple may process App Store downloads, purchases, diagnostics, and related information under Apple’s own privacy policy and your device settings.

Storage and retention

Temporary copies may be created in the app’s private local storage while Cliptum prepares a preview or export. iOS manages this app storage, and it is removed when the app is deleted. Completed reels are saved to your Photos library only when you choose to save them.

Because we do not receive your media or maintain an account for you, we cannot access, recover, or delete items stored on your device. You control those items through Cliptum, Photos, iOS Settings, or by deleting the app.

Children’s privacy

Cliptum is not directed specifically to children under 13. Because the app does not collect personal information, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Cliptum’s features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel, such as an app update or this website.
