Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Reelsium (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you use the Reelsium iOS application and the website at qaimos.co.uk/reelsium (together, the “Services”).

Photos and videos

You choose which photos and videos to use. Reelsium uses those items only to display previews, apply looks and text, and export the Reel, Story, or Post you request.

In the current version, looks, templates, and export run primarily on your device. Reelsium does not upload your photo library by default. If we later send prompts or media to a cloud AI provider, we will update this policy and only process content needed to fulfill your request.

Device permissions

Reelsium may ask for the following iOS permissions when you use the related feature:

• Photo Library — to select source media and save completed exports to Photos.
• Camera — if you capture new media inside the app.
• Microphone — if you include sound when recording video.

You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Features that depend on a denied permission may not be available.

Purchases and subscriptions

Optional Reelsium Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Payment processing, billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms and privacy policy.

We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may share limited purchase status information with the app so we can unlock Pro features and enforce free-tier export limits on your device.

Data collection and sharing

Depending on how you use Reelsium, we may process:

• Profile inputs you provide — display name, niche, goal, and project text overlays stored on your device.
• Purchase information — subscription status handled by Apple.
• Diagnostics (optional / future) — anonymized crash or usage metrics to improve reliability, if enabled.
• Website basics — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) if hosting is configured to collect them.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with Apple for App Store purchases, with service providers bound by confidentiality if/when enabled, and with legal authorities when required by law.

Storage and retention

Projects, overlays, and preferences are stored locally on your device by default. Temporary copies may be created while Reelsium prepares a preview or export. Uninstalling the app removes local data. Completed exports are saved to your Photos library only when you choose to save them.

Subscription records are retained by Apple according to Apple’s policies. Because we do not maintain a cloud account for your media, we cannot access or recover items stored only on your device.

Children’s privacy

Reelsium is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Reelsium’s features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel, such as an app update or this website.
