Licensed application terms for CalScai and CalScai Pro subscriptions.
CalScai is a Licensed Application distributed through the Apple App Store. Use of CalScai is also governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), unless a custom EULA is filed in App Store Connect.
The service
CalScai is an iPhone nutrition logging companion. It helps you estimate calories, macros, and hydration from meal photos and manual entries, and review them on a Today view. CalScai provides informal estimates only. It is not medical advice, a medical device, or a substitute for professional healthcare or dietetic guidance.
CalScai Pro subscriptions
Optional auto-renewable subscriptions unlock CalScai Pro features, including unlimited Snap meal and drink photo analyses while your subscription is active. Available subscription lengths may include weekly, monthly, and yearly plans. Prices and currency are shown in the in-app purchase flow and charged through your Apple ID; we do not display fixed prices on this website.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device, or via Manage subscriptions on the web.
- Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Manual calorie logging, hydration logging, and goal settings in CalScai do not require a subscription. If you upgraded from an earlier version that used analysis credits, any remaining legacy credits may still be used for Snap until exhausted, as described in the app.
Refunds
Billing and refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.
