Mind the Aisle
Dodge the crowd. Grab the list.
Your phone buzzes: a shopping list and a deadline. Nip into the shop, hold to walk, let go to blend in, slip past chatty neighbours and pick the shortest queue. The shop and the crowd follow your real clock.
How to play
One finger, one rule: moving people get noticed, still people don't.
Read the SMS
A list and a deadline arrive. Tap an item to go for it first, or let the auto-route pick the nearest.
Hold to walk
Press anywhere and your shopper strides down the aisle, grabbing each item as you reach it.
Let go to blend in
Stop and "read a label". Neighbours, staff and the night guard only notice you while you move.
Pick the shortest queue
Staffed till or self-checkout? Queues ebb and flow. Pay before the clock runs out.
A tiny errand, every time of day
Everyone moves on a pattern, so every gap can be learned. Short visits, instant retries and three stars for getting out without an awkward chat.
Shops on your real clock
Early morning, lunch rush, after school, evening and late night each bring their own shops and crowds. Weekends are busier.
18 shop types
From the corner shop and bakery to DIY, the garden centre and a petrol station at 3 am. In December, a Christmas market pops up.
Stamp book
Win a visit to stamp that shop for that time of day. Can you fill every shop × time-of-day square?
Daily Errand
One shared errand a day, the same for everyone in your time of day. Keep your streak going.
Plays offline
Every shop is generated on your device. No account, no sign-up, no connection needed.
Remove Ads, once
Free with ads in the apps. A one-time purchase removes banners and between-visit ads for good. The browser game has no ads.
Meet the regulars
Lovely people. You just don't have time for them today.
The chatty neighbour
Big radius, long chats. Wait for them to turn the corner.
Helpful staff
"Can I help you find anything?" Not now, thanks!
Trolley pushers
Wide, busy and everywhere at lunchtime.
After-school kids
Fast and zig-zaggy, from three o'clock.
The night guard
Late at night, stay out of the torch beam.
The restocker
Parked in the aisle with a pallet. Go round.
The cleaner
Mops slowly up and down the same aisle.
The shop cat
Your first visit's only obstacle. Harmless.
FAQ
Is Mind the Aisle free?
Yes. The apps are free with ads, and a one-time Remove Ads purchase turns off banners and between-visit ads for good (you can restore it on a new device). Optional rewarded videos, such as "+15 seconds", stay available if you want them. The browser version has no ads.
Why does the shop change with the time of day?
The game reads your device's clock. Early morning, lunch rush, after school, evening and late night each open different shops and bring different crowds, from school kids to a night guard with a torch. Some shops close at night, and the Christmas market only opens in December.
How do the stars work?
Get out without a single awkward chat for three stars; one or two chats earn two stars. Run out of time and you retry the same shop instantly. Stuck after three tries? Skip the visit for free.
Does it work offline? Do I need an account?
It works offline and there is no account or sign-up. Every shop and level is generated on your device, and your progress is saved on it.
When are the iPhone and Android apps out?
Both are coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. You can already play in your browser on phone, tablet or computer.
