Privacy policy

Last updated: 30 August 2026. This policy describes how Qaimos LTD (“we”, “us”) handles information when you install or use TierBar (“the app”) on your Shopify store.

Who we are

TierBar is operated by Qaimos LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom. Contact: info@qaimos.co.uk.

Information we process

  • Shop and staff data provided by Shopify when you install the app (store domain, access tokens, and staff account details needed to authenticate the embedded admin).
  • Product and offer configuration you create in TierBar (selected products, tier quantities, labels, discount rules, layout preferences). This is stored in Shopify metafields and automatic app discounts on your store.
  • Session records in our app database so the admin stays signed in (shop domain and OAuth session tokens only).

TierBar does not store your customers’ personal information in our database. Customer-facing tier selections happen on your storefront; checkout discounts are applied by Shopify.

How we use information

  • Provide and operate the TierBar admin and sync offers to your theme and checkout.
  • Maintain app security, troubleshoot errors, and respond to support requests.
  • Comply with legal obligations and Shopify platform requirements.

We do not sell merchant or customer data. We do not use your store data for advertising.

Data location and retention

The TierBar application is hosted on Fly.io (EU region where configured). Session data is retained while the app is installed and deleted when you uninstall the app or when Shopify sends a shop redact compliance webhook.

Offer configuration remains in your Shopify admin (metafields and discounts) until you delete it.

Shopify compliance webhooks

TierBar implements mandatory compliance webhooks:

  • Customer data request — TierBar does not hold customer PII; relevant order data remains in Shopify.
  • Customer redact — no customer records to delete in TierBar.
  • Shop redact — app session data for your shop is deleted from our database.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you as a merchant user. Contact info@qaimos.co.uk. You can also uninstall TierBar at any time from Shopify Admin → Settings → Apps.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
